May 30, 2006 (newstodate): Plans are underway for re-development of Serb local airport Divci, in the Valjevo region.
The airport currently has a 1,250 m soft-surface runway that will be resurfaced to allow operations with small and medium-sized cargo aircraft to serve the region's exporters of perishables.
Plans also include installation of navaids, construction of a new airport tower and service facilities.
The Serb regional authorities hopes to attract foreign investors to materialise the plans.
