May 9, 2006 (newstodate): Pending final company decisions, Estonian Air plans to roll out its airport-door cargo product in all three Baltic markets from September.
-The product will not be marketed as an express, but rather a fixed-time service, with a differentiated time-frame relating to each specific destination. Also we do not initially plan to introduce a money-back guarantee, says Toomas Orukivi, Estonian Air cargo manager.
-The product builds on cooperation with partners, primarily the French Sodexim, and integrates cargo trucking between the Baltics and the continental hubs, depending on the carriers involved.
The final decision to launch the new service in all three Baltic markets will be made by June/July, according to Mr Orukivi.
