City Airline has announced plans to start twice-daily traffic between the two destinations.
Gothenburg-based City Airline has so far stuck to its home base, offering flights to Luleaa, Visby, Manchester, Birmingham, Lyon, Zurich and Helsinki operated with a fleet of aircraft comprising SAAB 2000, Embraer 145 and Embraer 135.
If the new route achieves success, City Airline plans to open more direct routes out of Kristianstad.
