May 8, 2006 (newstodate): During the summer 2006, the privately-owned Czech airline Travel Service will operate flights between Copenhagen and Greenland.
The carrier will operate a Boeing 737-800 aircraft twice weekly between Prague and Copenhagen under its brand name Smart Wings, providing the markets with low cost tourist flights, continuing between Copenhagen and Greenland as a separate flight for a Danish tour operator offering sea cruises along the Greenland coast.
The flights are handled by Novia Handling at Copenhagen Airport.
Travel Service currently operates a fleet of six 737-800, two 737-400 and two 737-500 aircraft.
