May 24, 2006 (newstodate): From June 5, Austrian Airlines plans to introduce an additional daily flight between Vienna and Moscow.
The carrier will thus offer up to three daily Airbus A319 flights on the route in addition to two code-shared Aeroflot flights.
Austrian Airlines also offers three weekly flights from Vienna to Yekaterinburg, as well as services to St Petersburg, Rostov-on-Don and Krasnodar.
In total the carrier serves the Russian market with 52 weekly flights.
According to the company, Russia has a share of around 11 percent of its Eastern European potential.
