May 22, 2006 (newstodate): Armenian carrier Armavia has now rebuilt its aircraft fleet after the recent fatal A320 crash and the hangar fire at Brussels that cost another A320 loss.
The aircraft fleet is now back at six aircraft after Armavia has received two former Independence Air A319 aircraft.
Sources say that Armavia will soon purchase another A320-family aircraft, and plans for one CRJ aircraft are also in the pipeline.
