May 8, 2006 (newstodate): Aeroflot may have decided at a board meeting already last month to buy the Airbus A350 rather than its competitor, the Boeing 787, sources say.
As a contract has still not been signed the airline has not, however, officially confirmed the issue.
The carrier has long been in the market for buying 22 new long range aircraft.
