Apr 7, 2006 (newstodate): The low cost carrier Norwegian plans to set up Warsaw as a base for new European routes out of Poland.
The carrier will locate two Boeing 737-300 aircraft at Warsaw to operate thrice-weekly flights to Alicante, Barcelona/Girona, Malaga and Nice, and daily flights to Oslo.
The carrier is recruiting Polish cockpit and cabin crews, and is already mulling plans for more destinations out of Poland.
