Apr 24, 2006 (newstodate): EBRD will support the continued development of Serbia and Montenegro's Pristina Airport.
The institution will provide a non-sovereign loan to EUR 18 million to allow Pristina to achieve compliance with International Safety and Operational Standards for airports and to respond to the passenger traffic growth.
The airport now has about one million passengers, and needs more facilities to cope with increasing demands.
As a prerequisite to continued upgrading, the airport will now work out an environmental report.
