Apr 27, 2006 (newstodate): LOT Polish Airlines has added its seventh Boeing 767 to serve its regular trans-Atlantic flights.
The aircraft that has been acquired on a lease contract expiring in February 2009 with ILFC, was earlier operated by Air New Zealand.
The carrier's new Boeing 767 will enable LOT to increase the number of trans-Atlantic flights to 2,900 in 2006, compared to 2,598 flights in 2005.
Starting from autumn 2008, the fleet of Boeing 767 used by LOT Polish Airlines shall be gradually replaced with new generation aircraft Boeing 787 Dreamliner
