Apr 10, 2006 (newstodate): After two months with decline, cargo volumes at Faroe Islands' Vagar Airport are up again.
In March total volumes were 29,9 tonnes, up 9.9 percent.
During the period January-March volumes are 83 tonnes, up 2.6 percent on last year.
Airmail, however, continues to drop, hitting a total of 108.8 tonnes during January-March, down 15.7 percent on last year.
Vagar Airport will see a new Faroese operator starting business by May 15, 2006, when FaroeJet takes to the air between Vagar and Copenhagen Aiport.
