Apr 25, 2006 (newstodate): With effect from April 10, 2006, Russia's Federal Air Transport Agency has certified Domodedovo International Airport to admit SAAB-2000 aircraft.
In early 2006, Polet airline, based in Voronezh, announced its decision to acquire six SAAB 2000 aircraft, slated for delivery this month.
Polet airline plans to introduce the SAAB 2000 on domestic routes as well as on international routes to Ukraine, Belarus, Germany and Turkey.
The authorities also certified the airport to receive Avro RJ-85 aircraft.
