Apr 28, 2006 (newstodate): Continental Airlines has postponed the opening of its long-awaited flights between New York and Moscow.
The airline originally firtst announced its plans for a Moscow route in 2004, planning for an ingural flight by May 2005. Now the carrier says the route is shelved for another two years due to shortage of aircraft equipment after a massive build-up in Latin America.
