Apr 3, 2006 (newstodate): In March, Billund Airport regained its breath after a slow start in this year's cargo volumes.
The airport notes a growth by 8.6 percent in total volumes, including a 12.5 percent increase in imports, to 2,772 tonnes, and a 4.1 percent increase in exports, to 2,241 tonnes.
In the period January-March, the airport generated a total of 12,928 tonnes of aircargo, up a meagre 0.5 percent on last year's Tsunami relief-driven boom, including imports up 10.8 percent and exports down 8.8 percent
