Apr 4, 2006 (newstodate): The Armenian airline Armavia is currently in talks on cooperation with the Georgian Airlines.
The focus is on joint routes to London and Amsterdam from Yerevan and Tblisi, respectively.
Both markets are too small to warrant profitable operations, but routing them Yerevan-Tblisi to London and Amsterdam, respectively, could generate the critical mass for commercial operations.
If talks are succesfull, the new routes would be introduced from May already, sources say.
