Mar 16, 2006 (newstodate): In April, Warsaw will host The First Central European Aviation Forum, CEAF 2006.
Under the headline Air transport in an enlarged Europe: key issues, challenges & opportunities, the forum will discuss issues including the general assessment of the aviation market development in Central/Eastern Europe, its present state and future, the role of traditional airlines versus low-cost carriers and the development of infrastructure with special emphasis on airports.
Two top executives present at the Forum will be Wolfgang Mayrhuber, President and CEO of Lufthansa and Michael O'Leary, President and CEO of Ryanair.
Other guest speakers include Krzysztof Kapis, Chairman of Polish Civil Aviation Authority, Gilles Gantelet, Head of Air Transport Policy, Economic Regulation and Multilateral Relations Unit, DG-TREN, Gerhard Stadler, Director of the General Secretariat of Eurocontrol, Jan Skeels, Secretary General ELFAA, and Jurijs Hmelevskis, Chairman EEATA.
