Mar 22, 2006 (newstodate): In 2005, air cargo volumes were up 7.9 percent to 43,738 tonnes at Poland's Warsaw Frederic Chopin Airport.
While international air cargo constituted 89.3 percent of the total volume in 2005, the growth was, however, solely driven by a 215.6 percent increase in domestic air cargo that increased to a total of 4,695 tonnes.
On the international side, the airport's air cargo exports were down by one percent to 4,513 tonnes, while imports grew by a meagre 0.6 percent to 39,044 tonnes.
