Mar 14, 2006 (newstodate): Ukraine International Airlines has named Globe Air Cargo, part of the European Cargo Services group, its exclusive global cargo GSA.
Under the contract, Globe will exclusively sell the airline's cargo capacity on all of its passenger and all-cargo flights into Kiev.
The carrier currently operates 200 scheduled flights per week on a network comprising 70 countries.
In addition to bellyhold capacity on its scheduled passenger services, the airline operates twice weekly freighter flights to Brussels, and four weekly services to Vienna using AN-12 cargo aircraft with up to 16,000 kilos of capacity, in addition to a door-to-door delivery service within Ukraine.
