Mar 17, 2006 (newstodate): From April 9, the privately-owned Bulgarian carrier Hemus Air plans to launch flights from Sofia to London Heathrow and Berlin.
The route to London will be served five times, and the route to Berlin three times weekly.
The carrier, that has aired interest in bidding for Bulgaria Air, has ambitions to launch more routes to West European capitals, and routes to Tirana and Bucharest are also in the pipeline.
