Mar 21, 2006 (newstodate): Slovenian airport Ljubljana saw its cargo volumes down by two percent in 2005, with a positive trend during H2.
In total some 11,750 tonnes of air cargo was handled at Ljubljana Airport that expects volumes to increase by about four percent in 2006, however.
The airport will now start preparations for the construction of a business logistics centre for the development of tourism, marketing, warehousing, production and commercial offices connected with airport activities.
Among its other strategic goals, Ljubljana is targetting a cargo volume at 15,000 tonnes by 2010.
