Mar 9, 2006 (newstodate): In January, SAS Cargo, no 1 on IATA's top-10 list, saw its share of the ex-Denmark IATA freight down by 30.6 percent to 831 tonnes.
No 2, KLM Cargo, fared badly, too, down 7.2 percent to 763 tonnes, and Singapore Airlines Cargo, no 3, dropped 37.8 percent to 575 tonnes, while Lufthansa Cargo, no 4, dipped 4.7 percent to 430 tonnes.
In a market down 18.1 percent in total volumes to 4,190 tonnes, only Thai International, no 6, Emirates SkyCargo, no 7, Martinair, no 9, and Cargolux, no 10, performed positively by increasing 8, 43.8, 35.6, and 17.2 percent, respectively.
