Mar 3, 2006 (newstodate): The Argentinean CourtHill Corporation and Prenova are currently engaged in large airport construciotn projects at Armenia's Zvartnots Airport.
The projects include resurfacing of the airport's 3,950 m runway, to be completed before the end of this year without closing down operations, and a new 12,000 sq m passenger terminal, and an arrival hall to enter operations before the end of this year.
Besides being the home base of Armavia, the airport is seeing more and more international airlines as well.
From March this year, Air France will start three weekly flights between Paris and Yerevan, while Austrian Airlines and British Airways uppped frequencies from three to seven weekly flights, and CSA increased operations from two to three weekly services
