Mar 28, 2006 (newstodate): Gothenburg Landvetter Airport reports a drop by one percent in cargo volumes in February, but a slight recovery of its export air cargo.
The Swedish airport generated a total of 4,209 tonnes of cargo in February, including 2,295 tonnes of import cargo, down five percent, and 1,914 tonnes of export air cargo, up three percent, y-o-y.
The airport may thus be once again on the road to recovery, compared to January when export cargo volumes dropped by 13 percent, leading to a five percent decline in total cargo volumes.
Combined, volumes in January-February are down three percent, with imports down two percent, and exports down five percent, y-o-y.
