Mar 31, 2006 (newstodate): flyLAL, Lithuanian Airlines, is keen to see its cargo traffic up in 2006.
In 2005, the carrier's total volumes were up by nine percent, driven by a 50 percent increase in export air cargo.
Also in January, 2006, volumes were up 8.5 percent over last year.
-Already for some period of time we monitor users and analyse their needs, therefore in the nearest future we will try to arrange competitive and favourable conditions for transportation of freight, says Arunas Griskenas, flyLAL general manager.
The carrier will expand its sales network to get closer to the markets, and also plans to introduce an improved freight delivery service based on a door-to-door concept, and a segmented product series.
