Mar 20, 2006 (newstodate): Finnair Cargo has now decided to join CASS for airfreight accounting in the Finnish market.
The process has been long in waiting, pending the implementation of Finnair Cargo's new IT system, Ego, a version of Cargolux' CHAMP.
-We have not officially informed the market yet, but I expect the cut-over date to be by May or June this year, says Marika Saisanen, Finnair Cargo business controller.
CASS Scandinavia entered the Finnish market in April, 2003, with KLM, Air Canada and Martinair as its first airline customers.
