Mar 30, 2006 (newstodate): Post Denmark Transport has now officially awarded the contract for mail transportation between Copenhagen and Bornholm to DAT.
Following the tender, the contract, worth DKK14 mio annually, has been awarded for a two-year period, with provisions for another two years extention.
DAT already operated the latter part of the former contract period that was originally won by MUK Air that went bankrupt.
A secondary contract has been landed by Cimber Air that can step in in case DAT pulls out or is forced out of business.
