Mar 7, 2006 (newstodate): On April 15, Danish cargo GSSA ProActive Airline Services will open its third office, located in Stockholm, Sweden.
With head office in Copenhagen, Denmark, the decision marks the intent to successively build up a comprehensive Nordic coverage following on the opening, on February 1, 2006, of the office in Reykjavik, Iceland.
The strategy is expected to include the opening of a fourth office in Helsinki, Finland, within the near future.
Behind the decision to start operations in the Swedish market is a new contract with customer airline Iceland Express that plans to start flights to Stockholm four times weekly, and to Gothenburg twice weekly from May this year.
Set up on April 15, 2005, ProActive Airline Services is now cargo GSSA for Air Greenland, Iceland Express, JetClub Air and Air Tanzania, with two more airlines to be announced in May.
