Mar 27, 2006 (newstodate): After a profitable year of operations in 2005, the Navigation Services of the Czech Republic is preparing continued investments in the country's air navigation services.
Alongside the continued realisation of the IATCC Prague project, the state body is driving other projects to enhance the safety and capacity of its services at Prague Ruzyne Airport.
These comprise renewal of the radar system at the airport, new facilities for the instrument landing system to the 06 runway, and implementation of new departure and arrival routes.
The main income source of the company is provision of air navigation services that in 2005 generated 96.1 percent of the total income.
In 2005 the main users of ANS CR services were CSA Czech Airlines, Lufthansa, British Airways, Travel Service, EasyJet, Air France, Swiss International Airlines, KLM, and Austrian Airlines.
