Mar 10, 2006 (newstodate): Armenian carrier Armavia has received one Airbus A319 on a lease arrangement.
The aircraft, manufactured in 2004, will join the carrier's fleet currently comprising three Airbus A320 aircraft,one YAK-42, one AN-24 and two leased TU-154 aircraft serving a route network comprising 60 weekly regular flights to 29 destinations in 12 countries.
Armavia says more aircraft for the carrier are in the pipeline and plans to add more international destinations including New Delhi and Manchester.
