Feb 16, 2006 (newstodate): Romania is keen to see the establishment of a direct airlink with Doha, in the United Arab Emirates.
Currently visiting the region, Romania's president raised the issue during talks with the president of Qatar Airways.
Hopes are for a weeklt direct, nonstop service between Bucharest and Doha.
