Feb 7, 2006 (newstodate): Uzbekistan Hava Yollari plans to add more western-built aircraft to its fleet by 2010 when all Soviet-built aircraft will have been phased out.
While a specific number of aircraft has not been revealed, the airline will aim at leasing or buying a number of either Boeing 737 or Airbus A320-family aircraft.
The carrier currently operates four Boeing 767-300, six Boeing 757-200, three Airbus A310, and three RJ-85 aircraft.
In 2006, Uzbekistan Hava Yollari will also receive two IL-114-100 aircraft.
