Feb 9, 2006 (newstodate): Emirates SkyCargo has signed an agreement with AirBridge Cargo providing mutual access to the networks of the two carriers.
With this agreement, Emirates SkyCargo can effectively serve the huge demand for pharmaceutical products from the Indian subcontinent and accept carriage of odd-sized shipments such as machinery and equipment to offline points in Russia.
In turn, AirBridge Cargo gains access to Emirates SkyCargos network comprising destinations in the Middle East, the Indian subcontinent and Africa.
Emirates started operating into Moscow from July, 2003, expanding from March 31, 2005, to daily services to Moscow Domodedovo Airport, using Airbus A330-200 aircraft or, during peak seasons, Boeing 777-200 or Boeing-777-300 aircraft.
