Feb 16, 2006 (newstodate): Moscow Domodedovo Airport is working on a united information system for dangerous and special cargo.
The system is now in its development state, and will be implemented before the end of 2006.
Part of the project, a special e-module Dangerous and Special Cargo Registration has been added to the Cargo Handling Information System.
At present, the e-module provides documents registration of dangerous goods and allows identifying the registered dangerous cargo in the Information System during all handling processes.
IATA's "Dangerous Goods Regulations" data has been translated into Russian for integration with the e-module forming the base of the united information system for Dangerous and Special Cargo.
