Feb 13, 2006 (newstodate): Copenhagen Airport's cargo statistics for 2005 may be understating the actual performance.
-During 2005 one of the cargo handling agents changed procedures of reporting handling of international airmail shipments from being counted twice to just one time, affecting the volumes reported, says Lars Korup, Copenhagen Airport Cargo Manager.
-The effect is a reduction in 2005 by 7,191 tonnes, or 2.14 percent compared to 2004.
-While our official 2005-statistics show an increase by 5.8 percent in volumes, my guess is that we rather grew by 7.94 percent, says Mr Korup.
