In total, the company placed 32 aircraft during 2005, including 10 Saab 2000 and 22 Saab 340 aircraft.
The turboprop aircraft were placed with existing customers including Carpatair, Colgan, Eastern, IBC, Lithuanian, Loganair, OLT, Penair and REX.
New customers during 2005 include Bimini, FlyLPI, Mash Executive, Pacific Coastal and RAF Avia.
Included in these transactions were two dedicated Cargo Saab 340A aircraft to IBC and RAF Avia, further securing the Cargo market share for the Saab 340.
These latest orders will grow the total of cargo aircraft to 12 Saab 340A in service, adding to five existing Quick Change-aircraft.
The company has entered 2006 with placement activities for a four Saab 340A aircraft in progress.
SAL now has the lowest inventory of available aircraft in many years, totaling only seven Saab 340A, one S340B and no Saab 2000 aircraft.
