Feb 27, 2006 (newstodate): The new Faroese airline, Faroejet is now envisaging May, rather than March, for its launch of operations.
Airming at taking a 30 percent share of the market, the airline will operate a leased Avro RJ 100 on its route between the Faroe Islands and Copenhagen, contracting Malmoe Aviation that operates the same aircraft type for aircraft maintenance at Copenhagen Airport.
The route is now served only by Atlantic Airways.
