Dec 6, 2006 (newstodate): Air services between Ukrainean city Dnipropetrovsk and Germany have been abrogated for half a year now as a dispute has deepened between Ukraine and Germany over air traffic issues.
Ukraine alledgedly changed the slot times for some of Lufthansa's six weekly Dnipropetrovsk-Frankfurt flights, and Germany later retailated by denying DniproAvia's landing rights first at Frankfurt and then throughout Germany.
The issue will now be taken onto a governmental level, also involving the EU Parliament.
An air services agreement between the two countries has been in force since March 15, 1999.
