Dec 5, 2006 (newstodate): A further blow has been to Airbus' jumbo-freighter, A380-800F.
The aircraft manufacturer had landed 27 firm orders for the 150 tonnes capacity A380-800F freighter, but Emirates later converted its two A380F ordered into passenger aircraft.
In November FedEx cancelled its order for 10 A380-800F due to production delays that put the first delivery to 2010.
Now IFLC has announced its decision to convert its orders for five freighters into passenger aircraft, leaving UPS as the sole customer so far for the freighter with orders for 10 aircraft.
