Dec 14, 2006 (newstodate): The Russian airline KD Avia, based at Kaliningrad, is planning for an IPO in 2007.
Based at Kaliningrad Khrabrovo Airport, the carrier currently operates a fleet of nine leased Boeing 737-300 aircraft, with plans for up to 17 units.
KD Avia will add new destinations in 2007 prior to the emission of shares that will aggregate capital for the aircraft fleet expansion.
In June KD Avia won a license to operate flights to Madrid and Barcelona from Kaliningrad.
