Dec 18, 2006 (newstodate): Royal Jordanian plans for new routes to Budapest and Montreal have now been confirmed.
Contrary, howver, to an earlier report in newstodate, the start will be from June 2007 as the airline takes in new aircraft on its fleet.
Royal Jordanian will reportedly operate twice weekly on the new route from Amman Queen Alia Airport to Budapest, using an Embraer 190 aircraft.
The airline is also planning to increase its airline fleet with new Airbus A319 from 2008, and has started evaluations of new aircraft to replace its current Airbus A310 and A340 aircraft.
