A company named Matin Airlines is seeking a full charter contract with an operator of a minimum 115 seats aircraft to start operations to Erbil from London and Amsterdam.
Also from early 2007 Europe's first airline to offer scheduled services to Erbil, Viking Airlines plans to introduce services from Amsterdam, London, Frankfurt and "maybe" a fourth city in addition to its current flights from Stockholm and Copenhagen, while Austrian Airlines becomes Europe's second airline to fly into Erbil from March 9, 2006.
