Dec 1, 2006 (newstodate): The BA Boeing 767 aircraft detained at Moscow Domodedovo Airport on suspicion of radioactive contamination will be returning to London Heathrow today.
Upon arrival in London the aircraft will be cordoned off and tested before release.
Another Boeing 767 that performed 72 of the 221 flights under suspicion and grounded at London Heathrow has now been released and will be returned to commercial operations today.
British Airways has now been in contact with one-fourth of the total of 33,000 passengers that have been onboard either of the three contaminated aircraft during 221 flights.
