Dec 22, 2006 (newstodate): From January 1, 2007, a fusion between Mahe Freight and ScanAm Transport will constitute Denmarks largest airfreight provider and one of Scandinavia's leading overseas transport and logistics providers.
Continuing under their current names with a combined total of 600 staff, the two parties will operate globally from 36 locations in Scandinavia, finland, the Baltics, turkey, North America, China, Japan, Indonesia, Vietnam and Australia, and further new offices in North and Soutch America and Asia are in the pipeline.
The financial partner, Odin Equity will own 51 percent, and members of the two companies' management the remaining 49 percent in the joint company.
Managing director will be Ole Moller Hansen, currently ScanAm, and management will also comprise Jacob Andersen, Michael Krogh, Jorgen Jessen, and Allan Melgaard, currently Mahe Freight, who will become CEO of the company.
