Dec 1, 2006 (newstodate): Russia's first low cost operator, Sky Express has now detailed its plans for its initial routes network.
With Moscow Vnukovo as its home base and the first flight in December, Sky Express will start operations to St Petersburg, Rostov-on-Don, Murmansk, Chelyabinsk, Tyumen, and Volgograd with an aircraft fleet initially comprising four Boeing 737 aircraft.
To be added by next spring are flights to Anapa, Sochi, and Mineralnye Vody.
A network comprising some 20 destinations served by a fleet of 18 Boeing 737 aircraft is envisaged towards the end of 2007.
