Dec 4, 2006 (newstodate): November proved no exception to a sustained positive trend in cargo growth at Denmark's Billund Airport.
Total volumes were up 14 percent, y-o-y, to 5,125 tonnes, driven by an increase by 20 percent in exports, totaling 2,591 tonnes, while imports were up 8.4 percent to 2,534 tonnes.
During the first 11 months of this year, the airport generated 51,524 tonnes of cargo, up 7.3 percent on last year.
In 2005, the airport reached an all-time high at 52,103 tonnes.
