Nov 3, 2006 (newstodate): The merger between Russian carrier Pulkovo and Rossiya has now been completed, and the airlines are now fully integrated.
The new airline, retaining the name Rossiya, will have two hubs, one at St Petersburg and one at Moscow Vnukovo, and will fight with the Russian airline alliance AiRUnion for the 2nd place in Russian civil aviation, topped by Aeroflot.
The new Rossiya will now embark on identifying new destinations to be added, and adding new aircraft to its combined fleets.
