Nov 16, 2006 (newstodate): SAS plans to intensify its service to Iceland from next summer.
Beginning April 27, SAS will open flights from Stockholm Arlanda to Keflavik Airport, to meet the competition from Iceland Express that started operations on the route from May 16 this year.
SAS-owned Braathens also started flights from Oslo, Norway, on May 24, 2006, to Iceland.
