Nov 13, 2006 (newstodate): The Russian airline Ural Airlines, based at Ekaterinburg, has now taken possession of its first of two Airbus A320 aircraft.
The second will be delivered before the end of this year under a leasing agreement with the Irish leasing company Aughras Trading Ltd.
The carrier reportedly plans to add a further two or three more Airbus A320 before the start of next summer's program, and acquisition of a number of ATR regional aircraft is also being mulled.
