Nov 30, 2006 (newstodate): North America remains Scandinavia's single largest IATA export air cargo market, according to CASS Nordic.
During the period January-September, the three Scandinavian markets generated a total of 40,361 tonnes of IATA export airfreight to North America.
The Swedish market topped the list with a total of 21,510 tonnes of cargo, up a modest 0.1 percent y-o-y.
Denmark came second with 13,980 tonnes after a decline by 0.9 percent, followed by Norway with 4,871 tonnes, up 10.4 percent, y-o-y.
IATA airfreight to North America constituted 32 percent of Sweden's total IATA export cargo volumes, while this segment constituted 28.9 percent of Denmark's and 10.4 percent of Norway's IATA export airfreight during the period.
