Nov 2, 2006 (newstodate): S7 Airlines has launched of a new regular service between Chelyabinsk and Almaty, Kazakhstan.
The service is operated three times weekly with Boeing 737 aircraft.
Almaty, one of the largest cities in Central Asia and a regional political, financial and academic center, will gain increased connectivity to Moscow and European networks by the new service.
Almaty is the third Kazakh city served by S7, alongside the Moscow - Pavlodar and Moscow - Ust-Kamenogorsk routes.
